Using Control Point with Imported Data

I would love to backtest my strategies using 2 years' worth of data. I was able to find a source to import the data, which is 1-min OHLC. However, my strategy is based on hourly candles and I would like to use control point and obviously I need to import data to go back as far as I want to go. I imported the data underneath the minute section for the symbol. So when I run my strategy based on 1-min, MT4 recognizes it and allows me to run my strategy. However, the hourly, it doesn't because I didn't put the hourly OHLC candles there. I prefer the usage of the 1-minute data usage for the hourly using control point. I believe when I printed out the time, MT4 checks every 2.5 minutes (2.5, 5, 7.5, 10....60) and etc for control point, so the 1-minute data would allow this to be possible since that data gives out the open at 15, the high at 30, the low at 45, and the close at 60. I hope this makes sense and if you need further explanation, please let me know.

Thanks for your time in advance.
