Ticks for Strategy Tester

Hello,

are the ticks while running the Strategy Tester 1) automatically generated or 2) are the same as delivered by the data provider (e.g. FXCM)?

They are 1) Automatically Generated by doing fractal interpolation of 2) M1 data from broker.

PS! You can however produce your own HST and FXT files with real tick data using 3rd Party tools.
