When dragging the trading symbol to the chart, we get new chart symbol. I am new and learn by myself to mql programing, possible to code to get the previous symbol from the active chart? Thanks.

help me again, WHRoeder, i want to compare the deinit symbol to the current chart symbol, to scan all chart windows with the same symbol as previous symbol to change all windows to the new symbol. Your advice is appreciated.

Why bother? Set up your charts for a pair, save as a profile. Change pairs, save another profile. switch by changing profiles. Done.
