Clear Alert() window

As far as I am aware, the only way to clear the alert window is to restart the terminal.

I was actually thinking about a "dirty way" for doing it....

My question about how to clear the window is to avoid confusion between new and old alerts so that...my "dirty slution" would be to display, together with the desired alert, some more alerts (like 2 oe 3) with empty text lines, so that at least there will be some separation between alerts.

 However, I was wondering if there was any nicer way to achieve this.
