Question about Alert How it work?

Hi all,


First I'm newbie about MT and I have some doubt about the alert how it is work.

Is it possible to setup the alert to be alert only if the condition is met in the daily time frame while I'm viewing M5 time frame?

Thank for any assistance.
 
As the alerts are for when Bid etc is larger or smaller than a certain value, the condition is not time-frame dependant.

what if it indicator alert.. Can we set up the timeframe for alert and it ONLY alert for the specified time frame i the case I'm viewing other time frame?

That depends on how the indicator has been coded
