hi guys. how do i create an ex4 file out of a mq4 ? thanks.
 
Press compile in your MetaEditor, and the .ex4 is created in your experts folder.

hey thomas. i compile them before. but what if an error occurs saying that 0 error and 0 messages. sumthin like that. =] plz advise.
 
What the version of MetaLang.exe do You use? (launch it in the command line without parameters)
What the build of the client terminal do You use?

it's version 4.0.0.2.one more thing, after i have created the ex4 file..i simply drag the mq4 & ex4 files with the same name into the experts folder under client's terminal. but then later it seems that it did not appear in my terminal. is there sumthin wrong?

This means that the compiling went ok, there were no errors or messages!
