Best Processor for Trading PC?

Hello,

 I am currently working on a major hardware update for my working station.

I usually have between 10-20 instances of MT4 running so my programmer suggested to choose a processor with a maximum number of hard cores ( like te AMD opteron 6274 http://www.cpu-world.com/CPUs/Bulldozer/AMD-Opteron%206274%20OS6274WKTGGGU.html). They receive signal usually a the exact time and it is curcial that they are processed without latency.

Is it most importantly the number of physical cores that I need to look for to receive an absolutely neatless execution on all platforms?
