i use windows 7, MT4 in build 670 for a while.
Since last Sunday i get the following error message when starting MT4:
Metatrader has stopped working
a problem caused the program to stop working correctly.
Please close the program
-> close the program
When just closing the window then MT4 build 670 continues to work. I think that the error message is caused by the update to build 711, which seems to fail.
Any attempt to migrate to build 711 failed so far. I have also tried the following: remove MT4 by using the uninstall program, reboot, clean registry, reboot ... the installation then works, result is that the installation ends successfully, but when then starting the newly installed MT4 the above error message pops up as well - in this case the application ends.
Any ideas?
