When i use multiple MT4 instance (more than 2) or just after a while,
MT4 starts to give me unreal results.

Cheking the results i discovered it starting to skips trades..

I set spread to 10 pips fix.

It happens both on 3 or 1 years of backtesting.

On M5 charts. Both with tick, control points or open price....

I don't change any parameters,
to be sure of that
i also ran some backtests with two optimization passes changing just the Magic Number and it gives me different result!!

It return correct results only if i restart Mt4 after every test and don't run more than 2 MT4s

It seems to be a Ram or CPU problem but with 3 instance i never reach the 100% usage but MT4 skips some trades,

and every time different trades! 

I have two identical host and and on both of them having the same problem!!! 

I use I7 3,4Ghz with 8 cores and 32GB Ram. Without any other software running.

The MT4's are not connected to internet

I obtain 90% model quality without errors

 Any idea???????

PS. Mt4s runs on Windows Server 2012 R2...

  1. Mt4 doesn't have a concept of pips, only points. So are you using a 4 digit broker where a point == pip or did you set the spread to 10 points = 1 pip?
  2. Ticks within a M1 bar are randomly generated, so of course you may see variations on the M5 if you open mid-bar.

1. Yes i mean point sorry. 

2. The EA runs every tick but works only when new M5 bars is created.

The strange thing is that if i run 1 or 2 MT4s every times it goes perfect.

If i open 3, 4 , 5 or 8 MT4s they starts to skips some trades.. 

It can be a RAM problem that begins when starts to fill? But i never reach more than 70%..

 
Are they separate instalations?

Are copy/paste MT4 folders on desktop and run in portable mode...
