Can a computer be in sleep mode if I subscribe to a signal service?

Let's say I subscribe to Mr. X signal, should I disable the sleep mode? If a computer is in a sleep mode and there is a trading signal, will I miss the signal?

I subscribed to signals and I have MT4 set up at a 'virtual private server' (VPS) . It runs 24 hours a day and does not rely on my computer. There's plenty of places you can go for VPS services. It should really only cost you pennies and you don't need to go to a VPS run by a trading firm. It's also a great way to keep my EA's running without leaving my home computer run.
