am also experiencing this bug on my laptop.measuring pips has been very cumbersome.i have the latest mt4.is there a solution to this problem

I'm also annoyed by this.. I think it's normal.

The best I can offer is Ctrl+F or middle mouse button to re-enable it each time.

Please add this feature in new update of MT4. Its very important feature which I believe almost everyone wants it.

 
I had the same problem (drives you nuts). I bought a new mouse and everything is working fine now. I must admit the original mouse was very old. Hope it helps.
