How to get data from mt4 in a windows application or excel?
The easiest way is to write the information you require to a file (from either MT4 or excel).
The file can then be opened with either application and read/imported as requested.

go to the file in the chart menu, click "save as" . the saved file is in csv format.
not only do u have close price but also open, high & low.
import into excel.
