I need to do a MetaTrader 4 Live update. They have a bunch of custom charts, indicators and a layout I'd like to preserve into the new version. How is this done?

and i want to know if i delete liveupdate .exe, if there any bad influnce on mt4 and will it run fun fast ?
 
  1. Live update won't change your customization
  2. You can just rename liveupdate.exe to liveupdate.exe.sav and it will no longer function. Won't affect the terminal in any way.
