Gray screen when logging in; help please!
How about a screenshot of what you see?
Do you have tabs above the terminal labeled something like "EURUSD,M15" then you have charts above that, try Window -> Tile
Otherwise you have no open charts.
Just occurred to me that if after installation, and you cannot connect to the broker, you would not see any charts.

It has to do the initial updates first, before you can see the charts. Where do you think the charts actually came?

He didn't say it was "Waiting for update" he said he couldn't see any at all. You CAN create a new chart while disconnected.
By charts, I mean charts with graphs/lines/candles, not just empty charts which you can create.
Anyway, we are guessing at what the thread starter is seeing and he appears to have lost interest, and so have I.

Hi Staff: I've tried logging in a few times to my live MT4 acct, and I can bring up the Navigator as well as the Terminal,
but I can't see the charts and graphs. What must I do to correct this? It's like flying blind.
