that way you still use stop order right?

stop order to close a position or stop order to open a position is the same as they both are try to fill you at market price when the price you wanted is hit...

Ah ok...I deleted previous post. I guess ECN has the speed & spread benefit to make up for this 'shortcoming'.

i know some company have their server near the stock exchange... maybe they do that to get their order faster than others...

i wonder with forex... put the server near liquidity provider? huh? lol

Thanks alot for all the input, I think I will stick to ECN broker for the moment to see how things goes..

Btw ricx, u did not explain why u like ECN broker compare to Market Makers brokers.. although stop loss at ECN might be wider..
