What you've done is what most traders tend to do and that is to give only a cursory description of the FUNCTIONAL requirements. You will need also to consider the NON-FUNCTIONAL requirements as well. Any good professional programmer will be able to guide you in terms of what NFRs you may find suitable and the cost involved. Examples of NFRs are:
- The EA needs to recover after a power outage
- The EA needs to notify users when orders are opened, shut etc.
- The EA needs to notify administrators when it is re-initialized etc.

Hi everyone,
I am looking to hire a programmer to write an EA using 2 or more currency pairs.
eg the AUDUSD and the NZDUSD
The program would be a typical hedge EA. ie it would go long in one pair and short in the other. When it hits a certain profit/stop loss it would exit. It would place only one trade per day, based on a certain start time. Once the 2 paris diverge by say 0.0010, then a trade would be entered to Buy one and sell the other. When the divergance returns to 0.0000 then profit would be taken. If the divergance continued to 0.0020 then the stop loss would be enacted. The lot size would be preset each day.
I would be interested in:
1) What most people think would be a reasonable price to pay for this EA.
2) Are there any interested prorgammers out there who would be willing to build this for me ? Could please provide me with a quote ?
