Spread widening DLL by Metaquotes in MT4 to rob retail traders? :)

I am surprised that none has yet to bring this following https://www.mql5.com/go?link=https://www.nfa.futures.org/basicnet/CaseDocument.aspx?seqnum=2461

I would assume metaquotes would have an honest explanation? or all the crooks joining together to cheat retail/small time traders?

Very interesting but is not MQL4 related

These are serious allegations. Forex.com looks and quacks like an honest dealer. My personal experience, if one of the biggest Casino in the middle of the USA could cheat me in broad day-light for the year 2009. Something I used to argue full heartedly could Not happen in this day and age. I've said it before and I'll say it again. Where there's smoke, there's fire.

How you say it is not MQL4 related. The entire software is by Metaquotes and I suspect they are hand in glove with the whole thingy. And the main dll provider is bridge builder or broker software developer who manages more MQL4 based brokers. So it must be happening in all the mt4 based brokers.

I would expeect a reply from Metaquotes.

I don't know :(,,,,, Sigh. I'm just trying to figure out what the Un-written rule here is. The original poster could just rename the topic to say "mt4 dll widening spreads on back-end" and that'll make it a legitimate mql4 topic IMO. Instead of playing word game with each other, let those who wanna respond to this thread do and those who don't just let it die. Moderators can just Delete the post, but that'll say allot more to me about mql4.com and broker's comments. Hope I'm not making this into a bigger deal than it is. But reading stuff like that about mt4 back-end really makes me boll.

When I play blackjack, I expect that the host can kick me out anytime they want for no reason at all. If they're gonna let me sit an play, I'd expect that they're Not gonna cheat me. Here it seem like they think they can take a dollar from their customers and no-one would care. I understand that there's allot of senior members with Integrity and Affiliations with Organizations within this industry and site. I can also understand them Not wanting people to bad mouth their industry because it sounds like an all bad apples.

However, I think this needs to be acknowledge and addressed. Mainly by players within the industry because they have the most to lose. Otherwise, Forex as we know it might morph into something worse because of over regulations and flat out banning. US regulators are already taking away options, whether those options are for the better or worse is for personal to decide. Non-the-less I like having those options and I can decide if I want to use them or not. Don't want regulations limiting me to 10:1 leverage etc.

Well, I saw a image /screen shot of the DLL which is like pulldown/button menus to alter the spreads while processing orders for retail /institutional traders (intentionally to accept/recect /cause slippage ). I saw that in oanda forum. I cannot find it now. I have no intention to put down any but I am just curious why MT4 would allow such a DLL to the broker so that the brokers can take advantage of (read-rob) retail traders. NFA conducted/monitored the trades for few months before coming to the conclusion and charges. If Metaquotes is seriously not done anything wrong, they should reply either way. Afterall it is their forum/software:)

Seconded. This is not a general MetaQuotes forum but specifically a MQL4 forum.

(And anyway - this is old news and it's been discussed many many times...).

Interesting replies indeed:) I will just post this final post and I have/had respect for MT4 but not sure I can trust completely.

See the last post in this link's page. I found the link which explains with the pic/screen shot and please DO read the points along with the pic/image.
