Strategy Tester Goes Back Only 1 Month?
If you scroll back a EURUSD 15m chart does it show the data before Jan 2010? That will proove the history is there for the back test.
Options -> Charts -> Max bars in history = 999999999999999999999 (sic)
Tools -> History Center -> currency pair -> Import

When I do a strategy test using Strategy Tester in the MT4, it only goes back to Jan 9, 2010 even though I put June 2009. What causes this to not go back farther in time using the strategy tester in the MT4?
I am testing using EURUSD M15 and I have done the import of M1 to M15 history using History Center .
Here is what the header of the Strategy Report gave:
This is what the header of the report shows: FXCM-Demo (Build 225) Symbol EURUSD (Euro vs US Dollar) Period 15 Minutes (M15) 2010.01.20 00:15 - 2010.02.01 23:45 (2009.06.08 - 2010.02.02) Model Every tick (the most precise method based on all available least timeframes)
Notice that this report only went back to 2010.01.20 even though I put 2009.06.08. Do you notice that?
When I check Results tab after the testing process finished, the first transaction closed Jan 9, 2010 nothing farther back.
Just in case you ask me, The Max bars in history: 512000 and Max bars in chart: 65000
What could be causing this to not go back farther back in time?
