Indicator doesnt show up

Hi all

I just downloaded an indicator in .mq4 format

But it doesn't show up in the indicator list in the navigator window after compilation

Any ideas ?

 

Questions:

- Did you put the .mq4 file in the MetaTrader\experts\indicators folder?

- Did you get a clean compile?

- Can you see the .ex4 file in the MetaTrader\experts\indicators folder?

What I also don't understand is the name of the indicators in the indicator navigator. They differ from their filename, yet I don't see any options set inside the indicator that set this name.

How many instances of the platform have you set up? Do you run Vista? CB

Don't take offense, but are you sure you're looking at the instance into which you've copied the indicator?
