Knowing which template you have on the chart

Hi all,

Can anyone tell me how to know what the template name is that I currently have on a chart?

When it comes to saving a template, I am presented with 'template name' as the file to save in Templates, not the name of the template I previously loaded e.g. HolyGrailEA.

After a while I forget which template I'm using!!

Cheers,

Mike

You could write an indicator whose sole function is to print on the chart the name of the template, and include it in the template.

Template is not "attached" to a chart... It is more like a set of commands to draw objects and attach indicators/EA on demand.

If you want some indication which template was last applied, put the name of the template on the chart itself, and then re-save the template
