Need comprehensive high quality historical data on indexes, commodities.... for metatrader. Any suggestion?

I would like to ask you about some way to get comprehensive high quality historical data (as old as possible, with the smallest possible time frame and with as many different symbols as possible) for futures and cfds for metatrader.
It turns out that I already downloaded metatrader from alphari and from http://www.brocompany.com/trading-platform/broco-trader/brocotrader-applicatons/ and these brokers do provide futures and cfds on their metatrader clients. Nonetheless, although I have found some historical data for example on indexes or commodities with these two brokers, they are not so good as the historical data I could find for some currency pairs in forex. For example, for some symbols, this historical data only lasts two years back from now.
I would appreciate if anyone could tell me some way to get comprehensive historical data in futures on indexes, commodities, etc because I need to develop and test several strategies(expert advisors) with several products(indexes, commodities...).

Did you ever get an answer from anyone? I'm also very interested in getting historical data (1min) going back several years. I'm reluctant to buy this data from the many websites that are out there. Currently my FX broker only provides 1min data on EUR/USD going back 2months....sucks!
