MT4 Mobile on Sony Xperia or Touch HD?

Hello all,

Sony has a new cellphone with Windows Mobile 6.1 which has 800 x 600 resolution and is sold for a low price here where I live.

I would only be buying this in order to run MT4, so I would like to know if it has been tested by anyone.. has it?

Alternatively, the HTC Touch HD looks nice too at 800x480, has someone tested this?

Thank in advance for any tips..

Al

By the way, I found this: http://66.102.9.104/translate_c?hl=en&sl=ru&tl=en&u=http://www.metatrader4.com/ru/forum/12510&usg=ALkJrhiHVegT5k7c4sSuiuYKcdpW3_ogoQ

which seems to imply that with a little registry hacking it can be done...

Hello Al, is it possible to run MT4 mobile with HTC Touch HD? Or do you recommend another smartphone for this?

I would be happy to hear from you. Or email me mabra@nwn.de.

Hi, I'm running mt4 mobile on my htc hd with pleasure.

if you follow the instructions on http://www.metatrader4.com/forum/11985 you can run it at 800x480 native (menus will be really small, but still readable).

I've also configured one button to rotate the screen, so i can use it in landscape or portrait mode. And it supports stacking indicators! Awesome. All it needs is a better order entry interface...

Yes, I have also installed MT4 on a HTC Touch, it is working quite OK, it's also depends on your broker software, with one of mine the display of certain timeframes are weird.  I think it will also be working on any cellular using windows, it is not a question of the brand but of the operating system and of course of the internet access you have.

Hi,

I have mt4 mobile version softwae on my HTC TOUCH HD mobile, which is on T-Mobile network. When I used the software by connecting the phone to computer, metatrader is working fine.

But when I tried to use MetaTrader using the mobile internet connection, meta trader is not working.

Can someone please advice me how to resolve this issue. My mobile internet works fine with Internet explorer.

Looks like some of the properties on HTC TOUCH HD mobile needs to be changed. Please advice.

Thanks for your time.

Vin

See with your phone provider may be they have to allow you to use internet with applications.

On HTC I have to tune my connection to WEB GPRS by doing : STart/Parameters/Connections/click the icon Connections/Advanced/select networks/normally it is on WAP GPRS and I have to set the network to WEB GPRS. Hope it will help you, if not just talk with your access provider they will guide you.

Hi, could you teach me in detail on how to run MT4 mobile at 800x480 in HTC HD especially on configuring a button to rotate the screen.

Thanks.

How to enable landscape mode?

Yeeuuch. How do you guys manage to continue to use a Microsoft OS on your mobile device without throwing (or accompanying) it out of the window? I found it about as user-friendly as a cornered rat.
