MT4 auto restart
XP has a folder called Startup
I would put a shortcut to terminal.exe in there on my (non-server) system.
MT4 can also be started from command line or shell script.
I don't know what you have to work with, on your "remote server".
I'm on a VPS running Windows Server 2003. Are you saying that a shortcut to terminal.exe in the Startup folder will not work with Win Server 03? If that will work, I'd appreciate some quick instructions on how to create that shortcut. That's something I've never done.
As for establishing auto-start from command line or shell script.....I'll have to ask around about that. I have no idea how to do that.

Hello. I've searched for previous threads about an auto-restart function in MT4.
If the platform is closed because of an operating system reboot, does MT4 have the ability to automatically restart when the operating system restarts?
I ask because I'm running MT4 on a remote server, and if the server reboots without my knowing it, then MT4 will also have to restart automatically.
