I created an EA which base on simple pattern recognition which read past datas on
chart, so it will work better if we have more data to collect to created precise
statistic.
But when i try to run it live, the data/on the ONLINE chart is too small. I already tried to change the "Max Bars On Chart" and "Max Bars on History" value on the Tools->Options->Charts menu. But looks like the online chart still not collect more data. Do I miss something ? Any suggestion will be appreciated. Thank you Aldhy |

Actually I can press "pageup" button or scroll right the chart to get
more bars, but I need the chart have data since 2004, so it will take long time.
Is there any simplier way :)

Try setting the number of bars in the chart to the maximum. Exit MT4. Delete all the history files. restart MT4. Check bar count. |

Dealer pumps only limited amount of data into initial chart, as you keep your charts for some time data accumulates. In order to get more data quickly use Download button in tools/history center. double click currency you want then press download button. some data will be downloaded since 1999 in all timeframes. It may override data already there. |
