My broker tells me that I can run multiple MT4 applications by partitioning my hard
drive, but I can only run 1 expert advisor no matter how many partitions I use.
Does anyone know if this is correct?

Nonsense, you can run multiple MT4 by installing in different directories. Someone
even said that you can copy the whole MT4 directory into a new place and it will
run just fine. You can run 1 expert in each chart window. Open as many windows
as you need experts to run.
