Can somebody please give me a setup - configuration and provider that ACTUALLY works with metatrader. I have tried gmx, yahoo and others but i have not managed to get anything working ... it is driving me nuts Thanks |

The problem is MT4 just uses an unencrypted connection. yahoo used to allow that but most servers now require a SSL yahoo pop help:
Outgoing (SMTP) Server: plus.smtp.mail.yahoo.com (Use SSL, port: 465, use authentication) I looked but couldn't find any open servers. There are some mail programs available that might help, mt4 -> prog ->ssl> mail server. |
