Yes guys,

After some hours of study, I came to conclusion that is possible with low DD.  I know that the result is ridiculous (just 300%), but

for those that are managers, it's real and very profitable. It can be used in more than 1 pair (ALL USD).

For those that wanna make a good EA like this...

The tips are: Look for the simple signals from MAC (crosses);

                    Use filter of trend (not about TIME.. is about trend);

                    Use trailing stops;

Multiply the % for each pair.. it will be the result;

Best regards,

Dan (aka BearNaked)

Betting Modeling as Means of Developing "Market Intuition"

The article dwells on the notion of "market intuition" and ways of developing it. The method described in the article is based on the modeling of financial betting in the form of a simple game.

Hi,

Nice chart Naked Bear: congratulations.

There is an interesting correlation between the line on your chart and the volume: they are pretty well the same.

I hope you have grown at least some fur for the winter and aren't completely naked now (< 8)

Hi FX1.

The MAC has nice entry points, however, we must use filters of trend... (enter only when the trend will be strong).

Best regards,

Dan

The main idea here guys is to show that is possible make a good EA using old indicators with TREND FILTER...

How I said, TREND FILTER is the secret for a good EA.

Dan

what happened?

I prefer show the result than speak something about the EA

And no... this one isn't better. It's just a study.

One mistake many do is to (over) optimize over a given time period..... and then backtest over the SAME period... Pointless!

The EA (generally speaking) is likely to fail badly on forward or when backtested on other periods with those settings.
