Hello everyone! I think these backtest results of my EA are very promissiing, but there is still a lot of work to get it "usable" and less risky. I need to still do some work on the money management side. I also want to test it on other pairs and other time periods. After that, I would like to conduct some live tests to see how it performs. I hope that by then I will be able to make a demo version available for all you guys (even druon) to test it. So far, what I can say is that this EA works with 4 different indicators, on 5 different TFs. It determines the trend and only trades according to it. The SL is always 1.5xTP and there is a TS of 0.45xTP. The TP and the SL are set according to the trend's strenght. The lots are set combining the strenght of the trend and the account's balance relation to the initial deposit. The backtest results I posted here where obtained on a 5M TF. If I move up on the TFs, the PF increases, but the net profit decreases. If I move down to 1M TF, the net profit increases, but the PF decreases, meaning that the risk is higher. Thank you all (even druon), for your feedback. Hope to make some more info avaliable soon! :) |

Honestly, I don't know if I'll be ready next week, but as soon as I need you it's nice to know I can count on you! My limited available time is due to the fact that I (still) have a regular job in the daytime and another set of activities during the week. So, usually I stay up late (2-3 am) trying to learn and build the EA. So for it's been a very interesting experience. Let's see what's ahead! :) |
