thanks, that's the problem. I still have quite a bit to learn about this platform and these programs, but since you can run two of the autocash program, I should be able to run this robot and anouther robot or two at the same time. That way this could pick up its 1 trade per day and the others could fill the empty time such as overnight. The Forex AutoPilot and ForexTracer programs are both inexpensive and interesting. I am going to set my RiskLevel to -.3 as well, I'd like to see more than the $5.00 profit per day in trading this Robot gives. I new to Meta Trader too, I'm testing another Robot as well. I installed the GBPUSD Wednesday robot, but it hasn't traded yet. Maybe I'll have to wait until next webnesday. |

I'm so glad I found this thread as I too, am new to the robots and have been following along to see that I wasn't the only one with curiousity. So Far this week since I updated the new robot along with the Wednesday GB Robot, I had a $5 profit on Monday and Today, wednesday on the USD/EUR robot. Early this morning when I woke up, the GB robot had made two trades within minutes of each other, one with a profit of $12 and the other with $37. So I can confirm no losses at this time but I too would like to see more than $5. per day profit. When ever I changed he RiskLevel to increase the trade, the robot never traded on those days. So if anyone has the right Risklevel combo that would increase the .10 trade please let me know! Thanks and happy trading! Lori |

I have ForexAutocash running on 2 EURUSD charts in the same platform, both generated trades this morning and are running concurrently. The trades were entered at 15:26 and 15:30. I've requested that they add a comment to the Robot, but now see that They should put the Reference # in the comment field of the trade and trade history screens. Anyway, I'm using 2 different Reference #s, I just changed the last 2 digits of the original one. BillBill, How do get 2 instances of ForexAutoCash to run at the same time? Could you explain exactly? and how to change the reference numbers? Also: I tried loading Artificial Intelligence alongside ForexAutoCash; when I load AI, Forex AutoCash immediatelydeinitializes |

If the 2nd and 3rd boxes are checked, un-check them. This could be the reason one Advisor cancelled the other. Then, again, if you're trying to run 2 Advisors on the same chart, you can't do that. If you want to add the AI Advisor to a chart, you must load another copy of that chart and add it to the new chart. Add a new chart for EURUSD by clicking the File/New Chart menu or the first icon (a big + sign) just below the word File at the top left of the main screen and attach the Advisor to that chart. BUT for a second copy of the ForexAutocash Advisor, you must remember to change the reference number in the Advisor's Properties. Changing the reference number is covered in the Users Manual. Bill |

I set it to -2.0 to see if that will produce a large profit. I'll let you know when it trades again. I loaded the Wednesday GB Advisor yesterday morning, but it didn't trade yesterday. Bill |

Rasing the risk setting is great for this test, but we are all still trading demo accounts. In real money trading the psychology changes a bit. In real money trading we have to acknowledge that raising the risk setting, raises the risk as well as the gains. So far this robot seems very good at avoiding losses, that doesnt mean it is very good at avoiding mistakes. A 5 pip gain is a microscopic day trade. Anything longer than that is a mistake. If we get stuck in an overnight trade, we had better make sure that we have the interest carry on our side. |

Anouther perfect trade this morning. At least as perfect as it gets on a demo account! 12 pip gain in 2 min, 15:54@1.3519 - 15:56@1.3531. With my position size set at 3 mini's, thats 36.00 dollars. The system has now paid for itself, at least in demo dollars, and my $5,000 account is up by $98, with no real trading effort at all. This does not mean it will do as well with real money. I have read several reviews from robot testers who claim that many of their robots are profitable on demo accounts and not with real money. There is a difference, they claim real money accounts experience more slippage in the entry price. In reviewing the experts messages I notice the robot tried to get in this trade 3 times, 08:54:35@1.3528, 08:55:37@1.3523, and 08:55:52@1.3519. This accounts for the oversized gain of 12 pips. This robot does not adjust its target when it adjusts its entry. This is not slippage, the slippage setting is only 5 pips, this is resetting the buy limit. In this case it droped the buy limit by 9 pips, and made an extra profit, I have seen it do the opposite and raise the buy limit, giving away its gain and taking a 3 pip loss. |

Bill Thank you Bill, I"ll try that! My Wednesday GB traded twice within minutes of each other for a more profitable result. I've also been reviewing the forex-killer....not a robot but so far it's very excellent with calculating the signals. I'm amazed. Kent, I found that Steinitz robot the other night too from another review site.... http://forex-systems-reviews.com/index.html he's added some video commentaries too. Have a great weekend everyone Lori |

Bill Why don't a group of us try specific yet different settings and compare results at the end of next week's trading?? For example, I will increase my risk rate to 20% but leave all other settings alone. At the end of next weeks trading I will post my results (on a trade-by-trade basis). Anyone else wishing to join this experiment? This should cut down individual testing time dramatically. Here are my stats before I start:
The original loss was probably due to an error on my part whilst trying to get trades started. I closed this trade manually! Current Dummy Account Value = 4,537.04 (Starting point for next week) My Settings for next week's trading: Risk Level = 20% S/L = 650 Slippage = 5 GMT Offset = 3 (not needed but I'm sharing all my settings) To get some valid info it would be better to change only one parameter - that way there will be no confusion over which change has the best effect on trading. Can one of you try the following settings: RL=10%; S/L = change up/down; Slippage = 5; etc. Another RL=10%; S/L=650; Slippage=change up/down; etc. These were "tests" I was going to run over the coming weeks. If we do it as a group, testing time will fall and we can disregard any settings which have a negative effect on trading. Cheerz chic@go |

Hi All, I had my RiskLevel set to 10% in the 1st 2 trades, -.3 in the 3rd trade and -2.0 in the 4th trade. Next week I'm setting the RiskLevel to -4 to see what happens:
Bill PS. chic@go you could run multiple EURUSD charts with different settings if you wish. Remember to change the reference number in the 2nd, 3rd, etc. |
