Dear Puncher,
I saw your expert advisor, cash machine,on mql4.com. And I want to tell you that your idea was a very great one. But my own idea is a combination of EMA close 1 and 3, with simple stochastic 5,3,3. The EA will make trading decision on crossing over of EMA close 1&3,and getting approval or confirmation from the crossing over of the two Stochastic lines(the dotted line and the straight line). At every cross over it will close any open orders, and open a new one based on the indicators'(Exponential Moving Average and Stochastic) decisions It will have a take profit and stop loss. And it will have Magic Number so that it can be used simultaneously (at the same time) on multiple pairs without any interferance. My problem is that i don't know anything about coding. Can you help me out?Kindly contact me on my e-mail - yemiojes@fastermail.com Thanks. Williams. |

Hi, reliable code writers can be hired starting from 100$ up, if your system is good I might be interested sharing the coding cost thanks, Jani jverho@yahoo.com |

Hi, I have already done some EAs for free for people in this forum ONLY if I think they look good. I work for an investment bank as a soft develoer and I have around 12 years experience. I think this EA would be useful to code for me to fine tune some aspects of my personal EA, so I am interested in coding it. I would like to have: - Detailed explanation of how did you backtest/used for real and for how long. What makes you think it works? - A word document explaining and giving clear detailed explanations of entries, exits, stops, etc. A clear description of the strategy. - A one and only contact person, I don't want to be emailing and having conversations with 10 people at a time. You will get: - A quick & dirty solution for evaluation purposes. - If evaluation is successful then we can code it better. I have very little time and only weekends to do this, so I accept no preassures. Let me know if you are interested. Thanks. |

I've been trading Forex for about 9 years, more or less active. I have recently got into MT4 EAs and yet to find an acceptable one, so i figured one has to build it oneself.... I don't believe good EA needs to be complicated, just like manual trading most good Quant. systems are relatively simple, question is just tight discipline, risk control and money management, which by the way most commercial EA do not have ... I've used Ichimoku for about 2 years and I think it is one of the best indicators out these, especially for JPY and JPY crosses. Ichimoku is actually quite simple indicator and able fast visualisation of the market trends and support/resistance levels. To my experience it only realiable 30min and above pref. 1H up (to my experience not very usefull for 5-15 min, which entail too much noise). Strenght of the Ichimoku is in the 'cloud' which tell trader a more information about support/resistance and volatility fast at a glance. the basic rule go long above, be carefull inside and short below works goite well when combined with Tenkan Kijun crossing and perhars another confirming indicators (stochastics, MACD etc.). On exit Ichimoku can be combined well with for example Parabolic SAR. I am currently working on detailed Ichimoku strategy for custom EA (including entries, exits, trailing stops, etc.). My goal is to make relative simple system but still robust enough to weed out most of the false signals. Most likely this system will not be very active trader, more like a 'Japanise Sniper' waiting patiently for the kill...! :-) Sajonara! Jani Ps. please email me at fibonachi72-1 at yahoo d0t com, so I can respond to you more quickly PPs. Question: Do you think it would be possible to combine 2 different time intervals for same system?? (for example 1D ichimoku looking for longer term trends and same time 1H Ichimoku system to time entry and exit points - this how I trade manually very often) |
